Taire Hair Salon, Inc. was founded by the brother-in-law and sister-in-law team of Brett Sauder and Suzanne Sauder and opened in March 2010 to provide innovative, cutting-edge, and quality hair design and beauty services. Taire Hair Salon, Inc. strives to provide our clients with the best possible range of beauty services and products in a fresh and comfortable setting. We provide quality hair and skin care services, along with offering the top professional hair care and beauty product lines. We pride ourselves on the level of detail and attention we offer to our clients, and the high level of satisfaction delivered with each service. We foster an environment of creativity and advanced education that allows our talent and passion to naturally shine through in the styles we design.

Our Team


Brett R. Sauder, Owner and Creative Director, is a 1995 graduate of the Vidal Sassoon Academy and School of Hairdressing in London, England and continues to enrich his skills through classes at Fred Segal Beauty, Soho Academy, Redken, “The Zone” Advanced Training Center, and Jacques Dessange. He has studied under industry giants like Phillip Wilson, Vivienne Mackinder and Irvine Rusk and also worked with Vivienne Mackinder and Phillip Wilson. He has also studied under business motivator Geno Stampora and World Hairdressing Champion Randy Rick. Brett’s cutting and styling artistry have been published in Coiffure Oz, Men’s Passion, Modern Salon, Celebrity Style, and Celebrity Hairstyles. Brett is also certified in Brazilian Blowout treatments, Thermal Ionic Thermal Reconditioning Straightening System and Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy by Coppola and Pure NV Botanical Keratin System. Before founding Taire Hair Salon, Inc., Brett worked as a stylist at Gary Charles and Associates in Philadelphia, PA from 1995 – 2010. He was a manager in the cutting department and also controlled the retail product inventory and product ordering. From 1996 – 2010, Brett was a partner, educator, and treasurer of Rebel Enterprises, an advanced training Academy for hairdressers. In 2004, Brett was active in the implementation and development of Rebel Enterprises’ signature product line “Stuff”. Brett also furthered his barbering experience while working at Bowen’s BarberShop in Newtown, PA from 2000 – 2001.

Suzanne B. Sauder, Owner and Master Colorist, is a 1990 graduate of Baron’s Castle Beauty Academy in Philadelphia, PA. She has traveled all over the United States taking advanced classes, and attending seminars and trade shows to further her education. Suzanne has studied at Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica, CA, Redken, L’Oreal, and Pamela Taylor in New York, Artego, Beth Minardi, Patrick Cameron and Martin Parsons to name a few. She has studied under business motivator Geno Stampora and World Hairdressing Champion Randy Rick. She has also worked with Jo Blackwell and designed figure skater hairstyles for the U.S. Olympics Ice Skating Trials. Suzanne has been published in various industry publications, such as Modern Salon, Celebrity Styles, and Celebrity Hair Style and has been featured on TLC’s The Wedding Story. Suzanne has worked in the Beauty Industry since 1990, and was employed by New Image Salon and Shear Pleasure, before working at Gary Charles and Associates from 1992 – 2010. She was a Co-Director of the Color Department and Director of the Bridal Department. She was also responsible for staff training and jewelry and accessory purchasing, and was a member of Rebel Enterprises, an advanced training facility for hairdressers. Suzanne has achieved one of her goals of becoming a Master Hair Colorist and is only the ninth person in Pennsylvania to achieve this title. Suzanne’s skill level, continued education, and supreme talent have enabled her to offer exceptional hair color services, formal hair design and make-up services.

Annemarie Sauder, Salon Coordinator, graduated from La Salle University in 2000 with a degree in Finance, Risk Management, and Management. She worked in Client Servicing for Towers Perrin as a Senior BenefitsSpecialist where she was responsible for the administration of a pension plan with a trust in excess of $25 million. She later moved to Electronic Data Systems (EDS) where she performed in the capacity of a Client Liaison, lending support to the pension clients she represented and operating as a bridge between the clients and the technology and customer service ends of the outsourcing business. Her positions in these organizations developed her strong client focus and customer relations skills, which are pivotal aspects of her salon coordinator role. She has also been instrumental in introducing many of the standardization practices used in big business to Taire Hair Salon,ensuring that clients receive an optimal salon experience every time they visit. Anne is enjoying her foray into the salon industry. She has developed her skills by attending L’Oreal Product Knowledge and INOA classes and is receiving invaluable on the job training, whether making appointments, helping with hair care product and make up choices, or developing promotional programs. She is also a key player in the business operations and assists Suzanne in the accessory purchases.


Robert DeFazio, Stylist, is a graduate of The Bucks County School of Beauty Culture with advanced education from The Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, California. In 2012 Robert was chosen to be a L’Oreal Professionnel Artist and Educator. Robert has been with Taire since the beginning and trained under the technical expertise of the Creative Director, Brett Sauder. Art and music are strong influences in Robert’s life and being a musician and graphic designer has helped transform his creative eye to focus on hairstyling visually and technically. Robert continually works with the Creative Director in designing all aspects of print media and promotion as well as product design. Robert is certified in Brazilian Blowout treatments, Pure NV Botanical Keratin system, and Hot Heads Hair Extensions.

Declan McElroy, Master Stylist/Senior Master Colorist/ Formal Hair Designer, started his career training at Peter Mark in Ireland, where he obtained his MVQ Hairdressing Qualification I-IV, including Advanced and Educator training certifications. After completion, Declan continued his education and graduated in 1999 from the Vidal Sassoon Academy and School of Hairdressing in London, England. Declan’s education portfolio features training with world-renown stylists and educators at Vidal Sassoon Academy, Fred Segal Beauty, Soho L’Oreal Academy, and Toni & Guy, including 2010 Trends and Looks with Toni & Guy. Declan is certified in Brazilian Blowout treatments, Great Lengths Hair Extensions and L’Oreal IONA Hair Color. He has extensive photo shoot and fashion hair experience, with Philly Magazine and Urban Outfitters. After completing his training at Vidal Sassoon, Declan began an international career as a Seasoned Stylist with Toni & Guy in both their London, England and Manhattan, New York locations. Toni & Guy’s connection to Bed Head allowed Declan to become an Educator for Bed Head, and to work on photo shoots for Fashion Week in both New York and Los Angeles. Family brought Declan to Philadelphia, where he worked at Gary Charles & Associates as a Master Stylist and Rebel Educator. Declan’s responsibilities included oversight and training for staff, as well as in-house and external salon training programs.

Lauren Horner, Stylist, graduated from the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in 2006. She began her career at Gary Charles and Associates where she studied under the Artistic Director. She joined the Taire Team in May of 2010. Lauren is certified in Brazilian Blowout treatments, Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy by Coppola and Pure NV Botanical Keratin System. She is also certified in So Cap Hair Extensives, Hot Heads Hair Extensions, and INOA.

Guy “THAT GUY” Robinson, Stylist, started his career in beauty three decades ago. He first graduated the Regency Beauty School in Philadelphia, PA and then furthered his education at Vidal Sassoon in London, England and worked with Paul Mitchell. Guy has owned three high-end beauty salons throughout his career. His first salon, That Guy for Beautiful Hair at the Marriott Hotel in Bala Cynwyd, was where he did most of the hair for local TV personalities. Joan Dinerstein and the entire Channel 10 News Team along with many celebrities including Joan Rivers and the cast of Happy Days have been Guy’s clients. He hosted many top hairstylists in his salon including Toni & Guy, John Dellaria, and Vidal Sassoon’s Artistic Team. His second salon opened in Spring House, PA called That Guy Haircutters & Haircuts for Peanuts, the first environmental hair salon for children, gained international recognition. His third salon, That Guy and Company Haircutters, opened in Southampton, PA. All three salons were members of Intercoiffure America. Guy Robinson is an extremely celebrated hair stylist. He was elected President of The Philadelphian Hair Fashion Guild and also was referred by Congressman Peter Kostmayer to cut Amy Carter’s hair (President Jimmy Carter’s daughter). Guy has been on many television shows and has been written about in many magazines such as Harpers Bazaar, Hair Do & Beauty, Parents Magazine, Philadelphia Magazine, and Hair Styles & Care where he was featured as The Best of Philadelphia.. He also produced the first instructional movie called Wash & Wear Hair to teach woman how to blow dry their hair. Guy loves to cut and style hair so much that in 1975 he cut hair for 100 hours to break the Guiness World Book of Records! He has continued his education working at Taire Hair Salon next to the creative director and is always a motivating force to give the best to his clients.


Gary F. D’Ancona, Senior Master Colorist, is a 1975 graduate of Wilfred Academy. He became a trained, certified Trico hair analyst in 1976 and worked for Jhirmack as an educator in the 1980s. From 1976 to 1985, Gary was a master at Gordon Phillips Beauty Academy. He performed show work for Clairol in 1981. Gary’s artistry has been featured in numerous international trade publications, including Hair Do and Hair Style. Gary was also the proud owner of 2 salons before beginning his education career with L’Oreal in 1988. Gary has been a L’Oreal Educator for the past 22 years, specializing in INOA Ammonia-Free hair color, Corrective Color, and Balayage, a hair coloring technique designed to create very natural-looking highlights. Gary recently participated in shows with industry legends Jo Blackwell, Travis Parker, and D.J. Mc Ginley and developed and taught his own program at the L’Oreal Institute.

Dominique-Michelle “Niqui” Meyers, colorist, is a 2007 graduate of Empire Beauty School in Philadelphia, PA. Niqui is an American Board of Certified Haircolorists Master Colorist, an elite certification held only by a small percentage of colorists. She began her career in the fashion retail industry over 11 years ago and began her salon career as a receptionist in 2003. She trained as a make-up artist under the direction of Suzanne Sauder one year later and worked as a colorist at Gary Charles and Associates after graduating from Beauty School. Niqui has also received advanced training at Rebel Academy. Niqui began working at Taire Hair Salon in May 2010. She specializes in hair color, make-up, waxing, and formal hair design. She also recently received certification in INOA, a L’Oreal Professionnel Color Line.

Dana Yuengling, colorist, graduated from Empire Beauty School in 2011. Dana began working at the salon as an assistant in 2010 and trained under Senior Master colorist Suzanne Sauder. Dana takes advantage of as many educational experiences as she can, including L’Oreal Master Colorist Classes, a class with balayage expert Min Kim, and also many updo classes. Along with being a colorist, Dana is passionate about doing updos for special occasions.
